baby rabbits

in school •  8 years ago

The baby rabbits were found in the school garden while my daughter and other children were harvesting beets. They got the care instructions from Wildlife Rehabilitation Center of Minnesota over the phone. 😊 The hair like cotton surrounding the babies is the hair from mother hare to keep them warm. (Tong twister. Haha!) Just three or four days ago, the children also found the first Monarch butterfly laying eggs on milkweed. The garden is full of fun of discoveries. baby_hares.jpg
