Back to School

I was contemplating on telling you now, or when I actually start, but what the hell, it's already pretty much a done deal; I'm going back to school, and you'll never guess what I will study!

Okay fine, you might have guessed it, I'll be studying photography.

_{Cause you know, I suck at it.}

I've been thinking about it for a long time, and just before Christmas, I applied, a week ago I got an email inviting me to an interview that was held yesterday, and today I got the acceptance email. I'm pretty fucking excited about that. Prior to the interview, I had no idea how many openings they had, and how many applicants, but I asked about it and found out they have 10 openings, 62 applied, and 20 were called in for the interview. I was soooooo nervous for the past 24 hours waiting if I had gotten in.

Yesterday was the first time I visited the school, and it's a super creative environment; while I was waiting for my interrogation, I watched blacksmith students work, and viewed jewellery and photographs along the halls, made and taken by the students. The school is fairly small and houses all sort of different fields of artist and handcraft students.

Going back to school is gonna be a huge change in my life, and I believe a good one, apparently it's healthy to have human contacts. I'm really looking forward to seeing who the nine other people in my class will be. The school starts next month, so I still have some free time left. But instead of thinking, oh now I have to shoot for the next weeks all the time because soon I won't have time, I'm thinking, yay, soon I'll be doing more of what I love, now I just have to get ready for it.

The above photo btw was one of the five I send in when I applied, because one of them had to be a self portrait, and I didn't wanna send in any sexey stuff, that would have been almost cheating as it was a male teacher.
