The “God of Chaos” asteroid is returning to earth in 2029. But this time it will be closer to Earth than some of our satellites.

It’s real name is 99942 Apophis, but since dubbed The “God of Chaos”. It is massive (as far as most asteroids we have encountered go), measuring 340 meters in width. And it is traveling at a speed of 25,000 miles per hour.

Earth will be able to see this fireball pass, that is if it does not get bumped off path and heads toward earth. This is a 1:1000 chance, kinda slim for something like this!
