A good read, despite leaving us with a cliffhanger!

I share your intuition that psychopaths were probably useful somehow, which is why they survived. Perhaps during times of war they did what needed to be done, or even during times of peace they're the people manning the CIA-type agencies and protecting us from those who want to harm us.
