Its really a shame that "pier review" essentially just means proof reading. There should be a website like google scholar that can show you how many times a study has either failed or succeeded in being replicated

Sometimes there are just more important issues than good science. Sometimes issues like global warming are so important that it doesn't matter if the science is bad, it is for the greater good. (Sarcasm)
