Let's say you feel sick. 97 medical doctors tell you that you have cancer and to get chemo, but one guy with a degree in nutrition says you should drink some antioxidant smoothies and rub this special crystal over your body. What should you do?
Let’s say you might have a leak in your house. 97 plumbers tell you that you need to replace your water heater. But this guy down the road says it’s probably nothing and it’s all just a ploy by the plumbing union to sell you water heater. He can even point to lots of evidence that people thought there were leaks long before people had water heaters, so there’s no way that’s the problem.
Let’s say your car has a strange tendency to pull to the right. Will you trust every mechanic in the city who advises you to fix your tie rod and get an alignment? Or will you listen to some guy on the radio who says he knows all about cars and insists it is just because lately all the roads have been slanting to the right and it is perfectly normal and nothing to worry about?
I would not go to my medical doctor for advice on my car, but if he thinks I need to get surgery, I am more likely to believe him than the same advice from my plumber. We go to experts for expert advice all the time for a reason.
Love this, thanks!
