The disappearance of glaciers in Peru

Over the last few years the area of mountain glaciers in Peru has decreased by more than 40%. Despite the urgent measures taken by the Government, the melting of glaciers continues to this day.

That looks sad, but it will grow back during the coming "mini ice age"

Peru is such a beautiful country! I was there about three years ago. It's almost hard to believe how much diversity the country has. It goes from the Amazon jungle on the east to the Andes Mountains and glaciers on the other side.
