“Abyssal Plains”

So I was doing a random Google search for large swaths of flat areas around the world and I remembered the term “abyssal plains,” from when I had done a little research into tectonic plates. As soon as I entered the search, I honestly was shocked right from the “home search page.” I’ll include the original Google search page and the few graphs that caught my eye.

I will also include some images that give a brief description on what an “abyssal plain” actually is. These large areas of flat under water land, have been estimated to take up to 30-50% of Earth’s land!!! One area, in one ocean can be as a large as 900,000 sq km or 350,000 ^miles. Ill also include the two Twitter links I shared.

I mean it seems like a lot of underwater flatness to me??? How does this all work on an oblate spheroid 25k miles in circumference??? I’ll let you decide. Be cool. Peace.

Wait a second... am I reading this right? Any globe professors want to teach me? #flatearth https://t.co/3p6swP9LPM

I leaned something new today. I have never actually checked out Bathemetry and Topography. This does pile on some more inconsistencies with the spinning ball theory. lol
