The World Bank conducts surveys on Ease of Doing Business (EoDB) annually on a per-year basis for 190 countries assessed for ease of doing business.
The ease of doing business is specifically aimed at attracting investors, thus improving the Indonesian economy. EoDB is a Government of Indonesia program with the aim of providing ease of effort for investors, in particular the ease in obtaining power connections (Getting Electricity-GE).

In EoDB 2018, Indonesia succeeded in improving the electricity connection service which was marked by the increase of the rank from 91 to 72. While in the ease of getting electricity, Indonesia succeeded in ranking 38th from the previous rank 49.
Welcoming the challenge to the 25th EoDB ranking target in 2019 PLN is running breakthroughs such as Contact Center 123 (CC 123) and PLN Mobile as a one-stop service that can be accessed anywhere and anytime.
As for the service stage, previously, PLN has five stages of service for customers to get electricity. In the year 2018 PLN cut into four stages.
Going forward, in 2019, PLN plans to further improve the quality of service and realize the ease in obtaining electricity by simplifying the stage into two stages. Likewise with the time side or duration of service.
General Manager of PLN Distribution Jakarta Raya, M. Ikhsan Asaad, revealed that in DKI Jakarta, PLN innovations have been developed for customers, among others, Power Bank as an environmentally friendly and efficient express power service, Priority Service and General Electricity Supply Station (SPLU) ).
