Welcome to Steem!

Our goal is to understand the fundamental components of nature and the forces that govern their interactions

Can you elaborate more on the details of the experiment (probably in a new post)? What do you expect to find and what have you already found?

Hi Jent, The ATLAS Experiment is one of four major experiments on the Large Hadron Collider at CERN. We explore the basic building blocks of nature. There have been many discoveries and important measurements, since collisions started in 2010, most notably, that of the Higgs boson. That helped to complete the picture of how fundamental particles attain mass. #steemstemfig_33.png

Ah, that's the one which found the Higgs boson. What were the other discoveries? And what are the other major experiments on the LHC? I still encourage you to write a new post on it, maybe describing your own attribution. Thank you!
