Hey steemians, hope y’all are having a good week. So today I want to share something I found out during one of my deep journeys into the cyber world (I was googling some stuff). This is common knowledge but I’m still going to say it.
Every man is afraid of going bald.
That is one of the greatest fears we have. No one wants to wake up in the morning and see some of his hair still sleeping on the pillow. But fear not, my fellow men, during one of my journeys, I found out that going bald is actually a good thing and I’m here to tell you why. But first, let’s talk about causes of baldness.
Baldness is a genetic thing. This means that if your pops and grandpops were bald, then there’s a high chance that at some point in time, you’re going to stop buying combs too.
Baldness can also be caused by production of large amounts of testosterone in the body. Other things like stress can also cause baldness. But is it really a bad thing? No, it is not. And I’m about to tell you the medical, physical, biological and financial advantages of losing all that hair.
MEDICALLY
First of all, researchers say that men who go bald at a young age have a 45% less chance of getting prostate cancer. This is because the increased testosterone level in the male body, which is one of the causes of male baldness, helps to slow down the growth of tumors in the body. This is a new discovery, as years back it was believed that testosterone actually caused prostate cancer.
BIOLOGICALLY
Another perk of going bald is that your metabolism becomes more efficient. The increased testosterone in the body help to boost metabolism, muscle building and basically help the body get in shape. Let’s be honest guys, full head of hair or better physical shape? I know what I’d pick.
FINANCIALLY
The average working class man gets two to three haircuts per month. This depends on a few factors like time and speed of hair growth. So, yearly, he gets roughly twenty four to thirty six haircuts. Spending a minimum of five hundred naira per haircut, he spends between twelve and eighteen thousand on haircuts a year. And we all know that some men spend way more than that. So taking all this into consideration, the bald man doesn’t have to make all these expenditures as he does not have the hair to spend it on. Adding monthly hair cream expenditure, the occasional dyeing and relaxing, combs and hairbrushes bought and lost, he saves a lot more money than the man with a full head of hair
PHYSICALLY
While going bald leads to men looking fitter (mentioned in the biological advantage) it also helps men look more mature. Surveys were carried out and it was realized that bald men are seen as more masculine, assertive and dominant. Also in business, bald men are seen as powerful and in full control of their dealings. So basically, once a bald guy walks into a room, they already start believing what he’s going to propose.
NOTE:
When I say bald, I mean men whose hair has completely fallen out. Men with partial baldness are seen as weak and insecure. So once you start losing your hair, be a man and get rid of all of it. Don’t try and make do with what little you have left.
That's it for today guys, so if you liked it then please
