About a month ago a team led by Michael Gillion at Belgium's University of Liege announced the discovery of an additional star (TRAPPIST-1) Which contains at least 4 more rocky planets orbiting around it. It's 40 light years away (close, in universe terms)
All about 20% bigger than the size of earth, they could possibly be a good spot to continue the search for extraterrestrial life.
Even though they reside around a mercury-type orbit the star the follow is much dimmer, leading to much more habitable environments.
Once again: Science pwns that $#!*
