Ever wondered why does the sun change its color throughout the day?
The light is made of seven colors, each color has its unique wavelength.

During sunrise/sunset the sun is near horizon, and the light from the sun has to travel maximum distance to reach the surface of the earth. Thus, most of light of shorter wavelength scattered away by earth's atmosphere leaving only light of higher wavelength.
The horizon is the line that separates earth from sky.
