Turbulence photograph is fantastic.
The photo was taken by NASA's Jupiter probe from nearby Juno. Jupiter is like marble contrast of white and brown. The scenery spread as it is drawn with a marble pattern.
This fantastic shot was taken on October 27 at a height of about 18906 km from the clouds on the northern hemisphere of Jupiter. The picture is 1,920 × 1,630 pixels, but it is calculated that about 1 pixel is 12 km square.
Jupiter is a giant gas planet composed mainly of hydrogen and helium, but the turbulence occurring in the sky above the high altitude is the true identity of this fantastic swirl.
This picture taken by Juneau are 3/5 points from the equator to the North Pole. This time it seems that the record Juno took when it approached the ninth time.
Were you interested in Jupiter's atmosphere more and more? In this video, it records other pictures by Juneau and how we are going to around Jupiter.
The way the whirlpool turbulence casts a shadow has a beautiful appearance but also creates eeriness.
Good report! The photo is really fantastic! ;)
