Bryan Johnson, founder of Kernel has invested $100 million to expand the brain's natural abilities. The initial focus of Kernel will be on developing new technologies to treat neurological diseases.

Planting a 'neuroprosthetic' will help people suffering from damage caused by strokes, concussions or Alzheimer's disease.

After passing the initial hurdle, they plan on further developing the chip to enhance the brain's cognitive functions. Their mission statement 'To further explore our own human boundaries, a wave of new technologies needs to emerge that can access, read, and write from the most powerful tool we have - the human brain'.

they sell derivatives, which they can't buy back, no technology or even ideas how to "enhance the brain's cognitive functions". They have money and intention, and over promising what ? chip ? which do what algebraic topology ? can they count homology ? no, then this is hype without any serious idea about how to delivery
