The spacecraft sped across the snowy landscape of mountains, stopping sharply now and again, dropping commandos from the belly underneath.
A tall, brown creature stood in the snow amongst the trees. He was 9 foot tall dressed in leather commando gear. His face had an appearance of a frog. He was murmuring. In his language he was communicating with the space craft that hovered high above.
“Captain, the oxygen down here is thick. Plenty of boost for the boys.”
In front of him, his men raced around the landscape at lightening speed, grabbing any living thing they could. Raccoons, deer and birds and any shrubbery that could be easily pulled up by its roots.
“We will be done here in a few minutes”
“Ok, let us know and we will pick you up”.
Mary was sat on the bed in her wooden shack suckling her 2 week old baby in the candlelight.
It was dusk outside but the glare of the pristine snow lit up the area around the shack.
Mary caught a glimpse of a tall, green and brown, giant creature darting around outside the shack at impossible speed. She froze and went cold.
The window behind her smashed and two large elongated hands darted inside and ripped the baby from her arms. The baby was gone.
Mary tried to scream but only silence came from her mouth. In a state of shock she stumbled to the door of the shack, opened it and saw the giant creature sprinting away from the shack. The tall green creature was holding her baby and running at a speed faster than a racehorse. Then Mary saw the spacecraft hovering above and watched it drop down upon the creature and her baby, then rose back up in the sky fast as a rocket.
Where the brown and green abductor and her baby stood was nothing but snow.
Mary watched as the spacecraft zoomed out of focus up into the stars from whence it came.
Frightened, incredulous and cold, Mary stood in the doorway clutching the door frame around her, staring into the darkening landscape. Her face white and her body stiff.
The ship zoomed away from the earth carrying its cargo. Rushing past the moon until it reached the mothership waiting beyond.
