FACIES
It is the general aspect of the face, given by the expressive features, the anatomical configuration and the coloration.
The states are evident:
-Animatic.
-Nutritional
-Hydration.
-Other: Sadness, Anguish, Joy, Pain and worry.
Classification
Painful Facies:
-Look Vaga.
-Raised accents.
-Back contracted.
-Decline of the corners of the lips.
-Contracted or Open steps
Anxious Facies:
Commissures stretched.
Open eyes.
Bright look
Facies Vultuosa:
Edema in Parpados.
It is found in states: febrile or in measles.
Adenoidea Facies:
Due to nasal obstruction.
Adenoid hypertrophy.
Mouth between open.
Eyebrows raised.
The maxilla is flattened and the upper lip is shortened
Scleroderma Facies:
Due to rigidity caused by infiltration of the skin by fibrosis.
Difficult to smile.
Lips on the teeth
Hippocratic Facies:
Sharp nose.
Sunken eyes.
You have collapsed.
Cold ears.
Lips out.
Rough and relaxed forehead.
Livid or leaden skin.
It is the facies of many septicemic processes.
Lunar Facies:
Called Full Moon.
It is found in Cushing's syndrome.
Submentionian gill.
Skin thin and violet.
In children: hirsutism.
Cretin Facies:
Round Face.
Inexpressive.
Thick and wrinkled skin.
Low hairy insertion on the forehead.
Wide nose.
Mouth ajar.
Edematous eyelids.
Observed: Thyroid insufficiency
