There Are Three Years Left To Prevent a Climatic Catastrophe

If the amount of the greenhouse gas we emit doesn't decline in the next three years, the planet will be on track for incredibly dangerous levels of climate change, plus the goals set for the Paris climate agreement will be unattainable.
Experts have set out measures that we need to achieve to safeguard the planet.

Even with an increase by 1°C in global temperature, the polar caps are melting and ecosystems are collapsing.  Atmospheric temperatures are son the rise and now is the time for us to act!

Scientists, say that we may only have three years to get this under control, but it is not all that bad.There are procedures and policy that can limit the Global Warming. But they have to be put in to place, better sooner than later!

Renewables sources of energy will need to account for at least 30% of the world’s electricity supply. Infrastructure will need to be fully decarbonized and heavy industry will need to increase efficiencies and cut emissions.

Transport is on of the toughest  issue  to tackle! Electric cars will have to make atleast 15% of car-sales worldwide.
General greenhouse gas emissions will need to be cut dramatically, from public transport and  planes.

The land use needs to be changed towards reforestation. Deforestation needs to be completely halted, and forests need to be regrown. This will help cut emissions to zero and protecting water security and biodiversity.  

The financing part is an interesting one, cause governments will need to step up and  most of the money will need to come from the private sector.

All of this needs to be done otherwise we are the ones that will suffer. We need to stay optimistic and act together !
