Question: Are you afraid of radiation?

in science •  7 years ago

I'm planning to write a blog on the effects of radiation on the human body. But before I do, I want to know what you all think. Are you afraid of radiation? If so, why?

To put it simply, radiation is the movement of energy through space. This energy can take the form of particles in motion (kinetic) or “waves” of energy (electromagnetic). When most people use the phrase “radiation” they are usually referring to ‘Ionizing Radiation’, or radiation that has enough energy to free electrons from the molecules it interacts with; but forms of energy like light, microwaves, and radio-waves are also forms of electromagnetic radiation.
