"Sharing Knowledge" : ,The Using Of Alphabet in physics

in science •  7 years ago  (edited)

We may always be in touch with the physics in our daily life, and it can not be separated anymore, from waking up to sleeping again. Physics creates various magnitudes and units to describe the natural "(as well as artificial) events that take place. To write it down, a symbol wzfas created that corresponded to the mention of it, originating from seveftyral sources. Some quantities and units are named after the inventor, while others are named in English. Others are even more magical again. All of these symbols need to be shortened in writing, often into one letter only.,

let's see what letters are used in physics, Here are the examples:

A: for Ampere, unit of electric current...
a : for acceleration or acceleration....
B: Magnetic field induction. Probably from Biot- Savart.
C: Coulomb, unit of electric charge; c for the speed of light.
D: Electric field displacement
d : is often used for distance (distance)

E : Energy; electric field.
e : for electrical charge of electrons.
F : Style (force); f for frequency.
G : Newton's gravitational constant
g : is used for the acceleration of gravity.
H : Magnetic field due to electric current,
H :also used for Henry, the unit of inductance,
h : for Planck's constant.
I : Electric current.
J : Joule, the unit of energy. Also for electric current density.

K. : for Commonly used as a constant (eg: F = k q1 q2 / r2). k for the Boltzmann constant.
L. : For Liter; angular momentum; orbital quantum number. Also commonly used for length (length).
M. : Mass, magnetization, meters.
N. : Newton, the unit of force. Also the major quantum number and the number of particles (number) in moles.,
O. : Okay, this letter is not used because it looks like a zero. If only the other shape, might be used as a unit of resistance, Ohm.

P : for Power (power); pressure (pressure); electrical polarization;
p :for electric dipole moment and linear momentum.
Q : Often used in thermodynamics for business.
q : for electric charge.
R : commonly used for radius of circle (radius) and range (range).
S : Entropy.
s : for seconds (second) and spin in quantum physics.
T : Time; period; temperature.
T : for Tesla, the unit for the magnetic induction field.
U : Energy in. Sometimes it is used to express the speed, if the letter v has been used.
V : Speed, from velocity. Also the quantity and the unit voltage voltage (Voltage and Volt) and potential in general.
W : Effort (Work). Watt is the unit of power.

X, Y, Z are used as coordinates. Y for Young's modulus; in nuclear physics, Z states the number of protons in the nucleus.

### Even after using all the letters in the Latin alphabet, physicists still feel not enough. They issued a supply of Greek letters:

α (alpha) : Angular acceleration.
β (beta), γ (gamma): The type of nuclear radiation, together with α. In special relativity, γ means Lorentz factor.
δ (delta). : Dirac delta function.
ε (epsilon). : electric permittivity constant.

η (eta). : On several occasions, efficiency means.
θ (theta). : Angle.
κ (kappa). : Modulus Bulk.
λ (lambda). : Wavelength; electric charge per unit.
μ (mu). : Magnetic moment. Also used to express magnetic permeability.
ν (nu). :Frequency.
ξ (xi). : One type of baryon is named in uppercase (Ξ)
π (pi). : In addition to the number 3.1415926535 ... also for the parity associated with symmetry.
ρ (rho). : Mass or electric charge per unit volume, also electrical resistivity (type resistor).
σ (sigma). : electrical conductivity; electric charge per unit area. Also for the Stevan-Boltzmann constant.
τ (tau). : Torque.

φ (phi). : In uppercase (Φ) means magnetic flux.
χ (chi). : Susceptibility. χm for magnets and χe for electricity.
ψ (psi). : In quantum physics, it is used to express the wave function, which states state.
ω (omega). : angular velocity. Uppercase, Ω, for Ohm.

So, that's all for this meeting, I hope we could take advantage of the writing above. Thanks for coming.,..
