How could I NOT check out the nano-worms?

This is a beautifully elegant bit of nano-engineering that enables optical microscopy resolve quite a bit finer detail than previously- it makes for a slow scan, but this takes the resolution in some ways into UV scale for surface features (in other words, only 3d irregularities can produce this increased resolution...but then, that's one of the major uses of microscopy, anyway...

Supercool. It's amazing that the kinesin motors have an efficiency rating of 50%. I think gasoline engines lose 28% just fighting atmospheric pressure.
