    Rotifers are some of the smallest animals on earth. They are microscopic, and you can find them in nearly all forms of water. They recycle nutrients and eat bacteria, algae, and other micronutrients. They reproduce sexually and asexually depending on the species. You can find them in lakes, ponds, puddles, and even your fish tank.
