In Chapter One - A Terrible Mistake & Chapter Two - Awakening! We get acquainted with a couple of the protagonists in the ongoing series and are introduced to the world of conspiracy as Christopher Edge a brilliant energy researcher is about to meet his fate.
We also catch a glimpse of Suzi ( Xia Wen), one of the kick butt heroines, who next to Captain Caroline White, will be playing major roles in the Reckoning Universe for some time to come.
Lucky for him through a MMOG “Code Blue” an immersive real life mobile combat strategy game where factions fight for world dominance, while uncovering artifacts of technology from ancient earth civilizations of myth in order to save humanity he has actually hooked up with people in the Terran Defense Force, an organization actively fighting corruption and the purposeful withholding of energy and other scientific advances by the elites and it is because of this affiliation Christopher gets kidnapped in order to be saved from death by a fake terrorist attack so that the research can continue bringing free energy to the people of planet Earth.
This is the raw storyboard for the first two chapters, as illustrated by Javier Arturo B. a brilliant freelancer I've been working with, hailing from Mexico.
When I saw the chapter, at first I was taken a bit aback, but then I kind of fell in love with the Manga'esque quality of his work and as I transition the pages into 3D form I hope to maybe involve him more for the 3D comicbook look and possibly employ him for future chapters as well.
Oh yeah... thats right, if you are not familiar with the Reckoning Comicbook Conversion Project it is a project aimed at converting my story Reckoning - a science fiction action adventure that I wrote and published online, into comicbook form.
But this will not just be an ordinary comic book. The aim is actually to create an immersive experience, a page that will enable you, as a reader to dive into each frame and to explore every scene of the story from all angles.
It is a huge process that will pan out in us having the 3D material for cartoon creation, so it is an insanely exciting venture for me as we move forward.
Here you can see a simple example of a rendering of a model from the first chapter, a steampunk like locomotive designed by @KrasherOx of Twitter and TinkerCAD fame. The model is based on the storyboard design, you might have noticed a sleek transparent tube system in the above chapter animation of the storybook if not then scroll back up and enjoy the GIF once again :)
A separate introduction to the train modules will be posted soon with links to where you can actually download the model to play around with, sounds good eh?
If you like what you read and see, you should really consider becoming a Patron of the Project, both here on Steemit by upvoting and spreading the news, but not least and foremost by going to Patreon and sign up, to become a part of this comicbook conversion project at https://www.patreon.com/einarpetersen

Yes - I have been considering posting the story itself here however I would like to be able to correct spelling mistakes etc. however as I understand it posts become locked for editing after a while so I'd rather not as I would like to be able to refine and polish it further. Perhaps when Steemit offers me an option to properly embed an iframe from another site in order for me to keep the content dynamic this would be a possibility.
That said doing the Reckoning project has been an amazing process and what impresses me the most is that the above storyboard pages and models are what other people have gleaned from in my story.
It is a humbling and exhilarating experience to see people engage in and create such awesome art out of what I have written. That is what inspires me to try and bring you the best and most immersive science fiction universe imaginable.
I hope you want to be part of an experience aiming at bringing the joy of a universe and enabling participation in the creation process to the fans.
I want to invite you to be a part of changing the creative process, to topple the corporate control of entertainment, let's set imagination free again together.
Please upvote all my posts and please do join my Patreon project, that way I can keep bringing you more interesting collections, models and awesome scifi releases in the future.
You are also welcome to make donations here on Steemit if you prefer that way of supporting Reckoning!
Looking forward to hear back from you!!!
All the best.
