gah, this is a nightmare. the stuff i used to be able to do pre calculators, and now i just cant get my head around it.

ok, so, there are 100 tiles in basic english version.
as seen here.
the original math i was trying to do, was, what are the odds, of drawing all 7 a's as first hand :P

Is what I got.

Total number of ways to draw 7 tiles out of 100 where you don't care about the order of draw is 100 choose 7. Of those, there are 9 choose 7 configurations that have all A's (drawing the first 7 A's, the last 7 A's, etc....)

A delightful surprise that I can type that expression into Google.

nice. im using lotto generator to draw all 100, with each assigned a letter.
then realising 'game number' on each draw is '7 hands' so even the first game i try to math out, has so many different variables
