My inspiration

Hi, everyone. Nice to meet you!! It’s my first time here in Steemit, so I’m a bit nervous. (>o< ) Actually I’m here because I want to practice my English skill. First of all, I’m Thai. Now I live in Bangkok, Thailand. You can call me Boss, that’s my nick name. My teacher wants me to share some part of my life here, so I think I will talk about what I love. This post, I’ll talk about my first performance in my life. Don’t laugh, okay?? Hahaha You know, everyone has their own hobbies that they like to do it in their free time and I’ve got my own one too. I decided to learn piano in my school when I was just grade 7 because I think it’s interesting for me.
It’s almost a Thai Mother’s Day in that moment and a teacher talked to me to play piano for her. It’s one of an activity in my school every year that has some shows, some Thai dance, show that you respect your parents, etc. but what I have to do is playing piano to their parents. I have to prepare everything myself including the song. Over 500 people there that would watch my show. I was really nervous, I excited, I worried about everything, but then I sighed and began to play what I prepared. That’s my first performance in my life. That time I know exactly what is a real nervous! Hahaha But Thanks god, I think I wasn’t make my mistake that much.
When I’m done playing piano, I turned back. The meeting room is in silence. Everyone looks in shock, they seem to be surprised and maybe they were impressed with my song. First time that I see them be like that, I still worried like “Did I play some part wrong? / Did I turn the volume too loud? / Did they okay with it? / did I play too fast?” but then someone started to clap their hand, the meeting room is now filled with the applause. I’m very happy at that moment. I also think that they clap their hand because it’s performance so they should clap, but no they’re not. Few days later but many people in my school still gave me compliments because of the show.
After that, I still keep practicing and try to practice many kinds of song. I think the show changed me. For my first performance, I was really scared but I can solve my problem and I think I did it well. This moment became my inspiration. I have more confident on the stage, I proud of myself, I also know more people. Not so long, liking became passion. What song I listened to it and want to play, I will play. I can say that a part of my life in high school had changed because of it.
The important spot from this moment is I have really good image in school that cause the good opportunities come, I have a chance to audition in BEC tero music, I also got a letter from Bao Young Blood but I didn’t accept their invitation because Thai folk song is not what I like, you know. Because of this skill, now I have a band, two of them graduated from this university. They’re really good at English that mean it’s good for me too. They taught me a lot about English language, it’s good that I know more nice people. I can play piano to earn money and teach as well. And that’s all the effects because of my first performance.
