False fish belonging to the septinidae tribe of the croup or the pimatimas Cypriniformes class. They are usually small and flat in shape. A full adult pub is smaller than 25 cm or 10 inches [1]. They are found mainly in South Asian and Southeast Asian waters, including Bangladesh, India, Maldives. There are strips, drops, or stains on them. Their name is Puntius, the common name of these species in the scientific classification of the Bangla name.
