From Seed To Fruit Update 3 - Apples

in seedling •  3 years ago

Back once again with another seed to fruit update. So far only one seedling seems to have broken through the top layer of soil and is displaying its first little green baby leaves.(hopefully the first of many in a thick lush foliage). Below are some photos to keep track of the progress.

Day 1

A side on view to give an idea of its height. Not a great pic, but it'll have to do, because I don't own a time machine.

I keep calling the seeding him and it, should I give it a name? Its feels like I should? But what is a good name for an apple seed? Any ideas? Leave them in comment section below.

Really nice to witness new life. First thing that comes to me for the name of an apple seed is Johnny! :D Thanks for all the great pics!

Haha. That is the perfect name, Johnny Appleseed. I have not heard the story of John chapman in such a long time, that I almost completely forgot about it. Thank you for the votes and for naming the seedling. Much appreciated.
