PHASE ONE INSTRUCTION PART 4

The information given for Phase 1 Instruction is designed to put you into a mental state of safety so that you can explore who you are, what you are and how you are. You have been engineering events, unconsciously, that bring you face-to-face with yourself in self-examination. As you knowingly provide for a deeper study of yourself in your present environment and relationships, then you won't have to destroy them to fulfill your unconscious craving for self understanding. It is vitally important for you to understand your inner needs and be prepared to meet them so that this major transition can take place without emotional trauma and physical stress. The purpose of your self examination is not to make judgments about yourself but to know and understand yourself so you can effectively take your nature into consideration when making decisions or setting out plans of action. Engaging in self examination, your self confidence and self esteem and will be enhanced, giving you more courage and determination to follow your path of life to your personal fulfillment. It is very important to understand that when emotion is aroused, you are involved with an issue that goes deeper than just what you want. It involves a survival issue. Any time the emotions are aroused, it is directly related to a survival issue because the emotions are the tools of the survival instincts and one of the vehicles the ninety percent uses to communicate urgencies with the ten percent. We’ve become very sophisticated in getting what we want. Consequently, when we don’t get what we want, even on superficial and trivial levels, we may unconsciously relate it to death because its absence seems to hinder our survival. Operating our lives from a position of blindly reacting to our emotional prompting can create extremely unpleasant feelings, frustration, anger and unhappiness and keep us focused on our problems.
