The hardest thing about quitting smoking

in self-responsibility •  7 years ago

Just felt like sharing this out there in the cyber-blackhole. Im trying to quit smoking after an entire lifetime of smoking. Starting from back when smoking aas "cool".

Without getting into the weeds..'the' hardest part for me is accepting the fact that this pack..this last cigarette is it. Forever no more to touch another cigarette ..yet...I quit for a day or two and bam! I buy a freegin pack!....sigh Why?

But see..that is 'my' consequence (lowered health/finances) that 'I' obviously choose to suffer in order to justify continued smoking. I see Leftists shoving their responsibilities onto government. And dont even give me the 'for the good of all' justification because somehow dont see how government banning of water-vapor smoking falls under the regulations of 'climate change'...but anyway...

Just wanted to put that out there.

Quitting smoking for me was the hardest thing I ever did. Good luck on your journey and if you fail you can always try again tomorrow.

Thank you. I just dont want to quit hard enough yet. I think. I give in to the habit too easily.
