I've been casting this question to myself through all my adolescence and adulthood. I've searched for answers and with effort created some techniques to navigate myself. I'd like to share my thoughts with you, I hope every single person in this planet to be truly free and happy by finding what they want to be and who they really are.
Have you ever wondered that things we are forced to do in daily life are actually far from your nature?
If you already had that feeling and still don't know what to do to change your life, please continue reading this article.
Like there are necessary skills in diverse areas of our life, we all need to have a certain perspective on how we carry on.
Without reminding the most crucial goals regularly, we tend to get lost and chase what we don't really need or want.
Majority of us are far from our ideal self. And it takes too much time seeking who you are in modern society without having systematic ways of thinking.
We need to keep accumulating systems of mind to be better at dealing with life, this way we can grow ourselves and
start giving meanings to the happenings in life.
We cannot control every incident in life, also we should never try to do so. Yet life is an interaction between us as an entity and everything happens outside of self.
There is a dimension that we can control between the two areas(us and out of us), and to understand how to develop control on this part is the key to our happiness and liberty of mind.
I'd like to start with this simple rule
- be conscious to see who you are.
Self is not fixed. Even in this moment we are interacting with world. It's crucial to know that we are not the thoughts that we think of ourselves. The true nature of human self is a constant momentum that interacts in time. Self is gathering of systems that are built mentally and/or physically.
Unless we train our mind, it's very difficult to distinguish our self from what's happening in our mind.
Once we start to know we are not the wants, feelings and all the emotions that come and go, we can expand our self concept.
Our mind is rooted deeper than we can imagine. Training to see who we really are will reveal our nature.
Only conscious practice can build a cerebral circuit in the brain that helps you to remind what we really are.
Most of our culture push us far from the question we must solve in the journey of life; Who are we?, what do we want to be?, what's the meaning of our existence?.
We cannot be successful to find the answers of those questions without reaching to the nature of self.
So I suggest you to expand the limits of self by putting attention carefully to experiment your mind to see if the thoughts or feelings are your self or not. This might first bring confusion to your mind but in the end it will give you power to develop stronger self and you will understand better who you are and what you are.
It will be continued in the next writings.
