If you've been following me lately, I am continuing the process of increasing the amount of backlinks going to @ucluelet in the objective of increasing the page authority of the account.

I am outlining what I am doing everyday to achieve just that and report results when I see them. Unfortunately, when it comes to SEO, we never see immediate results but see them over months and years. But I believe that if I keep the pace going, I can achieve that goal and then take the exact same step to duplicate success forward.

News - Steemit broke the Top 4000 on Alexa and Domain Authority Just Had a Big Jump!

Good news for all of us who is working on improving the SEO of our profiles. The Domain Authority of Steemit is now 67!!! That's a big jump from 58. I believe we will keep seeing this metric going up moving forward. My personal account @cryptoctopus got a boost too with a page authority of 43.

Also, now Steemit.com is under the top 4000 website on the entire internet!

What Did I Do Yesterday For SEO?

Day 2

1. Wrote an article on @ucluelet

3. Wrote good quality comment in #travel related steemit posts as well as articles talking about Tofino and Ucluelet/

6. Setup OnlyWire via Fiverr: (https://www.fiverr.com/safebookmark)

Thanks to @hilarski, he pointed out that I forgot about creating a Google Plus profile and page for @ucluelet.

I am still waiting for my fiverr gig to be completed. What she is doing is that she is opening 45 account on different social media and bookmarking website. Make it appear human like and add a link to my blog.

Then once it is done, she will be sending me an excel spreadsheet with username and password for all of those. From there I will be able to connect OnlyWire which is a fast, secure automation tool to submit content to all those profiles.

Once I have those accounts, I will also link them via my Google Plus profile and pages.

Are Bookmarking Wesbites and Onlywire Safe for SEO?

I doubted it at first but after research I learned that there there is no negative SEO associated with having your links on social bookmarking sites. They are not a huge factor by any mean but it's a low hanging fruit that is easy to pick.

Please let me know of any other backlinks idea you may have. I still have a whole lot of stuff to do in order to increase the ranking of my profile but there is only so much one can do in a day.
