We at Serve understand that logistics operations are extremely complex, with many participants and moving parts — not to mention paperwork. The Serve platform empowers all businesses, regardless of their size, to navigate the complex logistics landscape.
Facilitating Deliveries
Since Serve facilitates many kinds of orders, including delivery of goods and services, one may assume that the Serve is a delivery company. While Serve can seamlessly coordinate delivery services for businesses, our hands never touch the goods nor are we involved services themselves. In other words, we facilitate the fulfillment of requests, rather than fulfilling them.
The delivery of goods and services is only one of many use cases of our platform. The Serve platform also aims to facilitate ridesharing transportation, e-commerce, food delivery, and more.
Empowering, not Competing
It may appear on the surface that Serve competes against the likes of Uber, Lyft, Postmates, and other last-mile companies. However, our goal is to increase efficiency and reduce the cost of business logistics and ridesharing.
What that means is that the Serve platform empowers even the smallest of businesses by making otherwise elusive delivery processes part of a viable business strategy. By providing businesses with a global roster of logistics providers, we provide them with the opportunity to compete on a global scale. This means that small businesses are now empowered to potentially expand their reach and business capacity to serve more customers than they thought possible.
For big players such as Uber, Lyft, and Postmates, they benefit from the use of our global workforce if they choose to integrate into the Serve platform.
A Peer-to-Peer Global Economy
Users may participate on the Serve platform to place orders for goods and services. However, this isn’t the only method for patrons to access goods and services through the Serve platform. Patron may also continue to use a business’s existing portal, such as a mobile application or website. The global workforce that Serve facilitates fulfills the order.
For businesses, we are developing an open-source application programming interface (API) and software development kit (SDK). These two tools allow businesses to integrate directly into the Serve platform and receive its many benefits. Additionally, businesses also have the option of integrating into the Serve platform by using our enterprise-level software. Regardless of the method, any transactional participant will be able to leverage the many benefits of the Serve ecosystem.
Access to a Global Workforce
Because Serve provides access to a global workforce, some may have the impression that the service providers are employees of Serve. However, that is not the case. These service providers are simply part of the global workforce that Serve facilitates.
Every service provider on the Serve platform is in full control of the orders and transactions they choose to accept and fulfill. As a result, each member of the global workforce works for themselves — they are their own boss. They have the opportunity to accept any order they wish while establishing their own reputation and brand.
Wrapping Up
Serve is on a mission to make the last-mile business logistics efficient and low-cost. We are not involved in the business of handling deliveries; rather, we are in it to make last-mile delivery logistics a viable strategy for businesses. By integrating with the Serve platform, logistics can be readily accessible and a viable business strategy for even the smallest of businesses.
With a vast amount of innovation at Serve, it’s easy to see why we’re so excited to share the platform with everyone! Very soon, the Serve platform will be open to the world.
