Nice shot! What lens did you use for this? And what else is in your bag? I'm curious...

Myself, I only have two lenses at the moment (after some downsizing). The venerable 24-70 2.8 L II and a Sigma 50mm ART. Looking to get a wide angle, macro and telephoto/portrait lens again soon. These two fit the bill for most of my needs at the moment, but I'm always looking to expand (as every photographer is!)

Thanks. I used a Canon ultrawide 16-35mm f4. Which is how I was able to get so much of the building from ground level.

As for my bag - it all depends on the job and how much I'm willing to carry.

I can tell you I have the 16-35mm, 70-200 vii 2.8, 50mm 1.8, and the 24-105mm. I switched from Nikon 2 years ago and I have yet to buy the 24-70mm lens. I do however rent that lens along with other photo / video stuff when need be.

I do miss owning the 24-70mm 2.8 as if I had to chose one lens because I was stranded on an island, it's be the lens I chose.

If I were you I'd get the holy trinity:
16-35mm, 24-70mm, and the 70-200 (preferably all 2.8).

Thanks for the comment - check you later....

Yes, the holy trinity! Definitely covers the whole range. Thanks for sharing your kit with me!

Why the switch from Nikon? They're coming out with kick ass cameras these days, and I'm on the sidelines with Canon wondering when they're going to come out with their own next "leap-forward" camera. Must have been tough getting used to the new controls too! Reversing the zoom direction must have drove you bonkers.

Oh snap. Challenge accepted!
