Yesterday on our way to IKEA, Cardiff, we stopped for a few seconds in the traffic and I spotted this ghostly figure looking at us from the first floor of a house with sash windows. I quickly opened the window of the car and got my mobile phone to record the view. I managed to take a couple of photos before the feline friend left the scene - I know, I should have taken a photo with the empty window as well.
This is my submission for the #sevendaysoutside, #windowmonday challenge. It is a fun activity that's made me look at photos I've already got in my 'digi-vaults'. In this case I think the shabby chic / distressed look of the window sill and painted brickwork makes it into a composition that once again inspires me to draw...
