Dating... Fun times for many, utterly depressing for other... It's a mixed bag of highs and lows depending on who you are with and what you are doing. The only real "big deal" in terms of dating is the danger of throwing away sexual energy. Sexual energy is the primary reason behind a lot of people dating hopes and dreams. If we are honest, we live in a very culture that pedals this as our ultimate "high" or ideal in life. Even those who drink or do drugs, do so in order to let the rational mind " take a breather and indulge in these other sides of life. The crazy part is that even those who have religious training in one area or another don't usually put 2+2 together in this arena. Sex is very energetically dangerous, which is why many cultures promoted abstinence until marriage. It was this way to keep you safe from energetic dangers.
Hooking up is very energetically dangerous trade...Superseded only by perhaps drugs in its potential danger to your energy system. It's just important for you to understand that a stranger's energy is no small thing. People carry around many different energies emotionally, physically, psychically and spiritually. When you hook up with someone, you are taking on those energies to varying degrees. In essence, you are hooking your system into an unknown computer, which may be rife with viruses or other energetic dangers. Now there are safer ways to hook up, but these require training, something the western world is just not that into. Nor would your one night stand probably understand if you started in with the whole "enlightened emotional development" routine. So in essence, this would be something you would need to explain at a later date to this person.
Whatever the case, I just think that danger-wise, this is one of the toughest times in human history to find an energetical "up to par" mate to hand with. People of this heightened spiritual disposition are usually not wanting to hang out in bars or hit up endless first dates. They are usually above all of that, so how do you even find them? Someone like that would have to be sent from the heavens per say. Someone of meaning and purpose can only be found when you have acquired such things yourself. So in essence, people are engaging in a risky enterprise that can really hurt them emotionally, spiritually and physically every weekend in many parts of the world. Not all countries do this, in China, for instance, people don't usually date until their 20's when they can spare the extra energy.
Being that sexual energy is creative energy, it can also hurt your creative potential by engaging in a random sexual activity. Hence why there are so many "one hit wonder" bands out there. Where did all that creativity go? Well...I think you know...Anyways, I have been hesitant to write about this because well, it's a very personal subject, but I have yet to see anyone talking about it. In essence, I think it's probably the most important elephant in the room spiritually speaking in our society. It is a hard topic to breach, but someone has to talk about it... Thanks for hearing me out and I hope that everyone thinks twice about what they teach their kids in this regard. Sex with a regular mate or "friends with benefits" is usually much safer than a bunch of rando's, which is a recipe for energetic disaster. Not trying to be a buzz kill...but again dark energies feed off sexual energy, so consider your actions wisely and study those who engage in this type of pattern... Are they stoked to be doing it? I doubt it... Wasting sexual energy is like wasting a creationary part of yourself.
