on that beautiful day in February, we went to Anse Carana to swim with our young children. If you're ever over there with children, I highly recommend it as the water is shallow in some parts and there are nice areas between rocks where children can easily and safely play in the water, without the dangerous undertow and sudden depth like at many other beaches. ![IMG_3568.JPG]
This beach can easily be attained by taking a public bus (from Victoria) heading towards Northeast point (this currently costs 7 rupees which is about 65 cents in Canadian dollars) and simply ask the driver to let you off at Anse Carana. Pack a nice picnic with some Seybrew, the local beer, and fresh pastries from the bakeries in town and you're set for a wonderful day by the seaside

Our son even tried his hand at fishing, but no luck, the fish were having too much fun swimming around us and gently kissing our legs, which was extremely ticklish.
