I was slow-mo last week and I let myself get derailed from my daily routine. The past week was a school break. The kids loved the fact that they got a lot of attention from me except for the times I made them work on their math. This week, they're back to school and I can't wait to get myself back to my daily routine.
Almost everyone I spoke to are saying the market is really slow. I'm not an economics expert but I think business opportunities are still there and we just need to be proactive and persistent. Still, I can't help feeling a bit down as I go about my appointment setting. I never liked uncertainties and I'm getting impatient to get things moving so I can see the results I want. As the 1st quarter ended, I felt like I haven't made any progress. I couldn't even find inspiration to write a post in the past 2 weeks.
Suddenly, I got a quote from my parish priest. He sends motivational quotes to parishioners on a daily basis, mostly religious ones. But this quote spoke to me directly. The words addressed all my weaknesses. Glaringly so. My restlessness, fear of uncertainties and rejections. I like the last line most - when nothing is certain, everything is possible. I never looked at uncertainty that way.
This morning I landed 1 appointment and a new set of leads to work on. God certainly works in mysterious ways.
