If Dandelions are in your yard, chances are you have clay or compacted soil. Dandelions are natures gift in so many ways. Their deep taproots will break up clay and compacted soils and aid in the overall health of any ecosystem.

The war on dandelions is a serious money-making agenda!

If you actually leave them in your grass or lawn it will aid in moisture retention, attract pollinators such as bees and birds. In turn native species and grasses shall return to your area and be healthier. I have a huge yard with 100s of dandelions and never even in a hundred degree weather need to water my lawn. I have 100% organic garden and yard. In Summer I will pick the flower heads to dry fir tea and topical oil infusions. In the Fall I will dig up a small percentage of them and harvest the entire plant and use in stir fry dishes

I found that the tea has really helped with my hormone balance and liver health.

Tip do not steep too long and make sure to refrigerate. It is a lot like ginger where it can turn bad fast if left out in warm temperatures.

Save the Dandelions!!! #share2steem #naturalmedicine #colorchallenge #istandforlove #garden
