Are YOU prepared for what's next?

Do you even brush your teeth twice a day? Floss? Shower? Well, I'm sure you do riiiiiiiight???? Funny thing is, most people "forget" to brush, and hardly ever floss. Who cares right? You're probably wondering why the hell I'm taking time out of my day to write about brushing your teeth. To be honest, I don't even know why I'm doing it. Just bored I guess. Today, I met up with an old friend and she was pressing me about my business and my life. It was this that brought me here on Steemit today. She actually just told me that I'm "getting big", whatever that means. Maybe I go to the gym? That's a story for another day though.

To be honest, this girl is a straight dime

But that's not the point. Point is, it's important to have dimes in your life to remind you to have high standards. But that's not the point. Point is, it's important to brush and floss to avoid those dental bills. But that's not the point. Point is, it's important to take a damn shower whenever you can so you don't scare those dimes away every time, #facts. But that's not the point.

Alright, now getting to the point. ROUTINE. In all caps. ROUTINE, one more time for the morons. Defined as: a sequence of actions regularly followed; a fixed program. This is the point, the huge overarching point. The entire point of this post is to have a routine. It really is critical to personal development.

So, how do you create a routine with life shifting so often, new events popping up and all types of responsibilities? I'm about to walk you through a great way to get started on your personal routine. It's simple and quick, but like all things takes effort to actually commit to. I promise you though, if you stick with it, you will see results that are far better than your current performance. Not to mention, you'll be feeling like the man and making money.

Throughout this post, I'll fill you in on what I do for a routine and throw in some suggestions for you.

The Grind Begins

Step 1: You need to have a clear understanding of what you want to be/where you want to be in a month, a year, 5 years and 10 years(slightly far-fetched). Some sort of aspirations and vision of the future is required to complete a solid routine. So whether you want to be a astrophysicist and create a private company or be a sailor on your own sailboat, you NEED an idea of what you want to be.

Personally, I want to be a leader/prominent figure in the blockchain/cryptocurrency/technology sector while running my own company. I want to have a reputation as a knowledgable and influential thought leader. What about you? Leave a comment about your aspirations.

Step 2: You must come up with a long list of things you can do to get there. Ask yourself: What can you do, that you aren't currently doing, to get to where you want to be? It's a scary question, and this is where most people fold. Here comes the effort and ambition. This step separates the winners from the losers. It's a matter of how bad you really want it.

Here we go, here's my list:

  • Write on Steemit
  • Make educational videos
  • Create a social media presence on traditional sites
  • Read/learn about blockchain
  • Go to the gym
  • Trade cryptocurrencies
  • Start a digital business
  • Build a network
  • Participate in blockchain/crypto events as much as possible
  • Start a company
  • Study hard on current major
  • Learn to code
  • Enjoy life
  • Get cash flow

Bang Bang! My condensed list, yours should look similar in size but unique for your desires.

Step 3: Take all of these tasks and order them by importance and relevance to your end goal. After this is done, build a daily routine.

THIS IS THE HARDEST PART

If you've made it this far, you can finish strong. Think hard about your daily schedule, and find time to fit in anything and everything. For me, it looks a little something like this:

Morning:

  1. Eat

  2. Knock out all school work/studying
Contact partners for the mobile app I'm working on & do any work needed
    Hit up the #SharkSchool discord
Check crypto charts/refine plan and strategy according to market conditions
Get on twitter and tweet some solid content and get my engagement up
    Minimum wage job

  3. Gym, protein shake, shower, eat

Afternoon:

  1. Write on Steemit

2.Make a video(have been slacking on this, sorry guys)

3.Read for 30 mins-1 hour of current book & eat, relax with friends

Minimum wage job

Night:

  1. Finish any leftover tasks

  2. Prepare for tomorrow

  3. Knock out & snore really loud(apparently?)

That's a usual weekday for me. Weekends are slightly different and some days during the week I have meetings or I'll go out to a bar or club, but for the most part its a grind. I truly enjoy it, and thanks to the homies over at #SharkSchool, I've finally found some like-minded individuals.

Really though, that discord is the place to be if you enjoy Steemit and want to learn. My dude @yallapapi really knows his stuff, check out his latest #SharkSchool article.
Its a good time, come on out and learn something and help someone!

Anyways!!! Back to the point. Have a routine. It can be simple or complicated, just stick to it. Set some monthly, yearly and 5 year goals. Go at them full throttle and don't look back. To be honest once you get on the grind, there's no getting off. It's addicting and enthralling. Good luck.

Resteem this post if you enjoyed!

Comment something meaningful. It'll go a long way.
