A Bengali, Who was the founding father of Bangladesh. And also known as "father of the nation"(Bengali:জাতির জনক)(Bengali Pronunciation: Jatir Jonok). He popular by the title"Bangabandhu" (Bôngobondhu "Friend of Bengal")
Bangabandhu was the first President of Bangladesh. And Later Prime-Minister of Bangladesh.
Today I have got some time so I wrote two part today.
Founding Awami League
Awami Muslim League, a political organization by
★Abdul Hamid Khan Bhashani
★Huseyn Shaheed Suhrawardy
★Yar Mohammad Khan
★Shamsul Huq
He left Muslim League and join Awami Muslim League(Former name of Awami League) as joint secretary of it.
He was elected as General Secretary of this organization in 1953.
He served from 1955-1958 as the second Constituent Assembly of Pakistan.
He entered in the second coalition government as the minister of industry and commerce labour in 1956.
When Ayub khan fixed the martial law, Mujib was arrested for organizing resistance and he was imprisoned till 1961.
After the death of Suharawardy in 1963, Mujib becomes the head of this organization. And the popularity of this organization spared.
In 1966, he mentioned 6 points movement.which is known as the "Our charter of survival"
In which he was able to show the contradiction between East and West Pakistan.
Then Mujib was arrested for "Agartala Conspiracy Case" with 34 major generals.
1969,22 February he returned Bangladesh.
And the next day he was given the title Bangabandhu
In 1970, the general election of Pakistan Awami league won majority perent of vote by the leadership of Mujib.
