One thing that many say to do is to send a small amount first, and then send a larger amount after.
However, with triple entry bookkeeping, this means not only paying two transaction fees to transfer in, in means two transaction fees to transfer out.
Bitcoin networks really needs a test send feature. So, you can see if a message gets through (and not tie up the blockchain) and then send the transaction.
Because people aren't very good at seeing if a username is absolutely correct, let alone a long string of letters and number of a bitcoin address.

Unfortunately being way ahead of the game is not a guarantee of success. Just watch Microsoft and Nokia with Windows Phone. It's light years ahead of iOS and Android. The majority of the people, however, are still stuck in the 20th Century and unwilling to move forward. So, the absolute best Mobile OS out there... Is pretty much dead and buried while those two little shit competitors have 99% of market share.

The Hard Fork seems to have really messed with the pending payouts. One of mine that had been sitting at 50 PAL for two days is now at 1 PAL. At the other end of the spectrum, I’ve seen a few people’s jump to several thousand.
