@kpine Seen your introduction and it’s a great idea, Thank you for that ☺️ I just started yesterday and this is my first post, I hope this travel post will help you to travel more. I highly recommend this place for your next destination.

“Siargao” is located in the province of Surigao del norte the “Surfing capital of the Philippines”. I’ve been in different Islands in the philippines but this is one of my best place.

We stayed in Siargao Bleu Resort. This resort is rated as a luxury resort in Siargao Island, We stayed there for just one Day just to experience this kind of view.

When we arrived at the resort, the receptionist greeted us, and give some fresh coconut. They’re all so approachable and nice.

On the second day morning we went to “magpupungko beach” by riding a motorbike,(I was the driver) We rent it in the hotel.
(Don’t worry If you don’t know how to use motorbike they also offering scooters.
There’s also a “habal-habal” motorcycle and private cars that you can rent for the back and forth trip.) Before going to magpupungko beach, we checked out at the resort and transfer to the mid-budget resort “ocean 101 resort” it’s quite near in the first resort that we’ve been. This resort also had a amazing view, we chose the sea front room and this is our view.

I had the amazing time of relaxing, ‘twas a great journey. I really need to plan another comeback trip.

There’s a lot more to visit in siargao not only in the island but in the whole capital (Surigao Del Norte).
For me siargao is still a virgin Island, but when the time comes the island was load of new hotels and restos, plus a heap load of tourists, which are all great things but I do hope that as it becomes more developed the government, locals and tourists learn to take care of the island as well.
Proper waste management, less use of plastic, less littering and implementation of proper sewage and waste water management for all resorts/hotels.
Just so Siargao can remain clean, green and stunning for many years to come!
I’d hate to see it’s beauty destroyed...

One thing I’m sure of that will never change on the island - THE WARM WELCOME of the locals!

Salamat Karajaw! Till my next visit 🤙🏼
