Traded my Gold for Silver!

I have a Charles Schwab account that I keep for trading. I have bought and sold stocks for over 20 years, I even purchased my wife’s wedding ring with money I made buying and selling DELL stock. Today I sold my GLD and purchased SLVR!

Sold 40 @ 127.83

Buy 329 @ 16.83

An EFT is an exchange traded fund and very closely reflects the actual commodity. The bad thing about GLD or SLVR is that its electronic and you can’t physically hold it in your hand.
Gold is 80 times the cost of silver. One ounce of gold is 80 ounces of silver. Historically one ounce of gold would buy 15 to 20 silver. So I think silver is undervalued and a great buy!

The G2S ratio is pretty extreme right now.

Good information @briandenver
