I have been stacking for a few years now. Here is a question that comes up from time to time. At what point to you have enough? My answer has always been you will never have enough, but is this true?
I have heard people give all kinds of answers. I have heard that once you get your total body weight in silver. I have heard your age times 20, I have heard 200oz per family member???
To be honest I really do not have an answer.
Storage does become an issue after a while. I mean I guess you could have a room full of safe's but is that realistic? probably not.
So lets take the question to the steemit community. After all the silver stackers on steemit seems to be fairly large.
Is it
1000oz?
2000oz?
3000oz?
Now this stack is not mine it is from a you tuber by the name if silver slacker. Seeing is how I go by my real name not really to comfortable showing my full stack. If you have not watch any of silver slackers video's, check him out. His stack will blow your mind.
Thanks for the comments and feedback. I am sure that there are alot of people on steemit that has asked this same question.

I am not sure. I have been stacking for so long I don't think I could ever have enough or ever think it was enough. I have had lots of investments of the years and Silver had always been the best preforming to be honest with you.

I'm not sure there is one definitive answer to this question, as there are so many different individual circumstances to be taken into account. Some experts advise holding about 10 percent of your net worth in silver/gold as portfolio insurance against depreciating fiat currencies and possible hyperinflation, etc. I think this is a good starting point. For example if you added up the value of all your assets including stocks/bonds, IRA, 401k, savings account, etc and let's say the total was 200,000, then you would put 10 percent or 20,000 into precious metals. If you had to take some money out of savings or other investments to purchase the PM, it would be well worth it. Then I think diversifying storage rather than keeping it all in one location is a wise idea. Never store in a bank deposit box because you won't be able to access it if the bank goes on one of those notorious bank 'holidays'.

Bro, very valid question! I do not know the objective answer, however my current goals are a reflection of what I heard once about the minimum needed in order to be considered to have a "position" in this commodity and that is 500 oz. Although I ultimately would like to surpass this, I would at the very least like to achieve this number.
There are many different ways of going about it, but if you keep one fact in mind you'll rest easy. Apparently, there only exists enough physical silver for each person in the world to own 1/10 of an oz, if distributed evenly. If you have silver in any quantity, you are FAR better off than most!
Have a blessed day man and keep stacking!!

500 you get that just from your steemit payouts my friend. You are correct about the 1/10of an oz. Don't worry about your goal you will pass right by that.

Brother Ray,
Your question depends on your personal debt to silver ratio. My opinion is 10/1 is enough at the then present market price. Debt of $5,000 would suggest a stack of 3000 ounces would be sufficient.

I've got about 40 lbs buried. I don't know if the global doom and gloom guys are right about worldwide economic collapse are right or not, but it doesn't hurt to be safe. I've been seeing really positive things about silver going up. Also we bought in at around $20 -$25 oz... and I AIN'T losing money lol!!!
