2017 Silver Proof Britannia

Video comparing the 2017 Britannia next to the incredible 2014 and the 2016 designs.

Does the 2017 20th anniversary design fall short or is it holding its own against the most stunning of all Britannias, the 2014?

My likes:

1. The British Isles, nice to see on a coin, would of looked better with a 3D feel looking up from the perspective of the Isle of White.

2. The shield looks quite smart, the way its being held doesnt look right but the shield itself is ok.

3. The Union Jack on the right hand side of the coin looks good even though its a bit mis matched with the map of Britain.

4. The Quality of the strike, its immaculate

Dislikes:

1. Britanna herself, nose, hair, arms are all over the place, using her wearing the British isles is a daring design but just doesn't work in my opinion.

2. The spokes in the background that contrast with the trident, should of left the background mirrored.

3. The lower part of Britan missing.

Basically if Britannia was removed from the coin completely it would look much better but she is the whole point of the coin, i do like the coin because it make me think and ive enjoyed seeing others discuss wheteher they like it or not, going to be interesting to see how it matures with time.
