Just abit of information about myself. I am a strong believer of sound money and I am mostly invested in the precious metals. After I had build a core position in bullion bars and coins, it gets kind of boring and I have diversified some of my funds into numismatics coins and other stuff.
I hope to share some of my knowledge on these coins and experience on how I go about buying or hunting for them. It is kind of fun when you can go to the flee markets or an old antique store to pick up something interesting and best of all if you can pick it up below spot or close to spot price for the metal but sometime it takes quite abit of cash to hunt down some rare coins too.
I will start sharing some of the coins which I had collected over the years and information about the coins so that people can gauge what kind of coin it is and also have an idea of what the metal price of the coin should be. If the response is good, I will share pictures of the really rare coins that are in my collections =)
Please help spread this blog around so that we can have more people who will understand what is real money. It has been too long that people's knowledge of what is real money has been suppress and I fear that the cashless age is going to be the new chain of slavery for my fellow human being.

I brought a lot of 30 coins from a colleague who was clearing her dad's drawer after he had passed away some years ago. During that time I didn't really know the metal content of this coin and I just offered face value on those coins. Turn out to be something worth really alot more than what I had paid for just on the silver content and nothing on the numismatic side.
