Cooper rounds

in silvergoldstackers •  2 years ago

Hi Friends,

I wanted to share items in my precious metals stack and why I am a holder. Today’s edition is: copper rounds!

Copper rounds are generally a bad idea to buy. Copper is so cheap, that buying minted one ounce rounds will have a gigantic premium. However, if you have unique or collectible items, perhaps you can get your initial investment back or make some money, but it won’t be because the underlying metal has increased.

This particular round is a novelty/nostalgic item in my stack:

The Don’t Tread on Me (Gadsden Flag) history is complicated and I won’t get into it all. Bottom line, the American Timber Rattlesnake is a highly venomous pit viper - watch your step!

For me, this round represents liberty and freedom - if you try to infringe upon these, be ready for the fangs!

Thanks for coming by,
Brian
