The fable of cand simplicity

Talent and Simplicity were great friends. Together they created funny things, laughed a lot and didn't catch Adulation and Criticism, the neighborhood thugs who always bothered them. They didn't listen to them and kept creating, playing and having fun despite the constant bullying.

Until one day, Egocentrism became a very beautiful and emperifoliate way of putting things into Talento's head, inventing simple cahuines and turning great friends against him. Talento forgot all the nice moments he spent with his friend Sencillez and abandoned him, telling him that he no longer wanted or needed him. Simplicity was very hurt and he walked away, still hoping that his friend would come to his senses, but that did not happen and it was years and years before he was heard from again.

One day simplicity was walking down the street with his new friends Creativity and Freedom, when he saw Talent and Egocentrism passing by him. With pity, Sencillez realized that Talento was no longer the same, he was dressed in shiny clothes but his gaze was opaque and sad. To his surprise he saw him surrounded by people, among them Criticism and Adulation, his great enemies. They looked at each other from afar and Talento wanted to approach Simplicity, but Egocentrism saw him and jealously took him away.

One day they knocked on the door of Sencillez, who was surprised to discover that he was Talent and that he was coming alone. Simplicity didn't ask him anything, he hugged him and let him in. They talked for a long time, Talento told him that he had had a hard time, that Egocentrism kept him locked up and that together with Ambition they mistreated him, forced him to work on things he didn't like and didn't let him go out until he escaped, that he would never go back there and that if he didn't mind him staying at home until he found somewhere to go.

Simplicity smiled and said,"Welcome home, you're not leaving here until you want to."

From that day on, everything went back to normal. Talent returned to smiling, playing and inventing supported by Simplicity with whom they were friends forever.
