Thats a very interesting video; Essentially - if we assume these simulations are in a close order of reality - that we have to take care of hygiene. It also shows that isolation is very effective. Guess the way some countries are 'Big Brother' their citizens, helps to contain viruses like Corona. Initially discussions are already started in Europe: tracking versus privacy. Some say: Life after Corona will be Big Brother all over. Other think we will reform our societies quickly because a lot more individuals will come to the realisation money isn't everything, hence more focus on quality of life, being able to be free in movements and all is much more important over money, hence end of our current (capitalistic) financial systems. Time will tell, but am afraid humans dont really learn that quickly, we in general have a short memory.

This is an amazing code simulation it's probably not perfect but sounds very reasonable and spot on, love all the different scenarios playing out. But it does seem visiting central locations like a super market is a problem.

This is going to be a thing for a very long time.

Hey Kevin, how are you doing?
In Italy it's almost a month of full lockdown now, we can't even get out of house unless to buy food/medicine or unmovable things to do. How is the situation over there?
thanks so much for the video, the SIR simulation is great and it really shows how different approach on social distancing and personal hygiene really do matters.
