At present, the SkyWay Group of Companies has several partners contributing to the development of the SkyWay Innovation Centre in Sharjah. But one of the main partners from the beginning was and still is Fast Building Contracting, a construction company from the Emirate of Sharjah and one of the leading private construction companies in the Arab Emirates.
At the opening of the SkyWay Test Centre in Sharjah in November 2018, it was Omar Afana, CEO of Fast Building Contracting, who cut the ribbon to commemorate the start of the construction together with Anatoli Unitsky, inventor of the string technology.
The company was founded in 1986 and started with building, technical and decoration engineering works and later became a full-fledged contractor for large projects. By 2020, Fast Building Contracting as a contractor had completed 98 projects, 39 of which were commissioned by the Government of Sharjah.
Today, with the support of Fast Building Contracting, there are under construction the heavy 2.5-kilometre track, the EcoHouse and the related infrastructure at the Sharjah Test Centre.
